In order to simplify the process of transferring deeds the Auditor’s office is now offering transfer pre-approvals. The Auditor’s office can inform you of any necessary fees and forms before the deed is presented to our office. Also, please refer to “Monroe County’s Transfer and Conveyance Standards” a copy of which can be found here. We believe this will help alleviate any un-necessary delays.
Transfer approval does not guarantee same day, expedited, or definite transfer of deeds.
Please use the link below to submit all documentation pertaining to the prospective transfer. These documents should include a copy of the deed and any Auditor's forms that are necessary. If you are unsure about which forms are needed please address it in the email. Copies of all the transfer forms can be found on the Auditor’s webpage under “Commonly Used Forms”. The calculator on this page can be used to provide what fees are needed to transfer the document(s)
