MONROE COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS, PROBATE DIVISION

James W. Peters is Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, Probate and Juvenile Division and has served in the position commencing 2015.

The primary duties of the Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division, are the administration of estates, creation and supervision of guardianship's, regulation of trusts, adoptions, marriage licenses, name changes, legitimization and mental illnesses.

Chief Probation Officer Zach Tolzda has primary responsibilities for the supervision of all juveniles on probation with the Court. Alan Hamilton serves as Community Service Coordinator wherein juveniles currently on probation are required to perform various duties and work details as part of their responsibilities to the community.
