The Monroe County Bicentennial Commission was set up to recognize the milestone of the county's 200th anniversary and organize corresponding activities to celebrate the year-long event. The greater effort however, extends well beyond the bicentennial as our slogan implies, "Celebrating 200 Years and Counting".
